I’m in the minority here, a lot of people love this one, but it just didn’t do anything for me. Schwab I would have DNF-ed around the 50% mark, and I think that says a lot. It’s marketed as young adult but very much feels like a middle grade novel – which, there is nothing wrong with those! But that isn’t what I went into this book expecting, so I was left disappointed. Unfortunately, this one was a miss for me. Schwab books previously, but hearing there was a new one coming out, I had to read it ASAP to see if I felt about this how I felt about Addie LaRue.
